Introducing the K-Tuned Upper Coolant Housing, a game-changer for K20 and K24 engines. This housing offers several unique benefits over stock units. The hose outlet on the K-Tuned housing can pivot slightly, allowing about 15 degrees of angle adjustment. This is a great advantage compared to the fixed factory outlet that often places the upper rad hose in the way of the intake piping. There are three hose outlet options to suit any radiator hose setup. You can choose the standard 1.25' rad hose outlet for regular rubber or silicone rad hoses. We've also designed an optional Filler Neck that can relocate the radiator cap to a higher point on the engine. This new location is the highest point of the cooling system, making it easy for air pockets to escape during the coolant bleeding process. The optional Filler Neck comes in standard 1.25' hose or 16AN sizes and is designed to work with an OEM 92 - 00 Honda Civic radiator cap. It's especially useful for engines with coolant bleeding issues. The K-Tuned Upper Coolant Housing pairs well with our Swivel Neck Thermostat and Water Pump Block off Plate, offering plenty of options for custom and race engine cooling setups. Applications include K20Z3 and K24 heads. Features include 16OR (O-Ring) and a 1.25 Hose End. Note that it won't work with K24Z and K24Y Series Engines, K24A1. There may be fitment issues with turbos depending on the turbo and manifold size. The rad cap is not included, and there are fitment issues with the K20 Upper Coolant Housing and Jackson Racing Supercharger.



Using the K-Tuned Upper Coolant Housing is straightforward. First, make sure your engine is either a K20Z3 or has K24 heads as it won't work with K24Z, K24Y Series Engines, or K24A1. When installing, choose the hose outlet that fits your radiator hose setup. You can go for the standard 1.25' outlet for regular rubber or silicone hoses. If you're using the optional Filler Neck, install it to relocate the radiator cap to a higher point on the engine. This will help air pockets escape during coolant bleeding. Just remember, the rad cap isn't included, so you'll need to get one that's compatible, like an OEM 92 - 00 Honda Civic radiator cap. As for maintenance, regularly check the hose connections for any signs of leaks or wear. Also, keep an eye on the coolant level. When it comes to turbos, the housing may have fitment issues depending on the size of the turbo and manifold. And if you have a Jackson Racing Supercharger with a K20 engine, you might face fitment problems too. So, always double - check before installation.
